Close up - Girl's hand settles on a frozen hand; an icy replica of her own.
Cut to:
Girl's eye view of her own arm, still outstretched and connecting with that of the other figure (out of focus). The other figure comes into focus to reveal an identical looking little girl, staring up into the white-grey sky, seemingly dead and frozen.
Slowly this doppelganger turns to face the girl (to face the camera) and gently smiles - a loving smile. As she does so she seems to defrost and colour comes to her cheeks.
Cut to:
Extreme close up of the girls' hands - still touching. As the doppelganger's hand thaws her fingers gently close around those of the little girl, which, in turn, freeze and stiffen.
Cut to:
Wide shot from above the two girls and the six snow angels, as the doppelganger slowly sits up and moves toward the paralysed girl.
Cut to:
Low level, profile shot of the little girl’s upper body and face (eyes wide in frozen terror) as the kneeling doppelganger bends non-threateningly over her.
Cut to:
Close up of the doppelganger, softly kissing the girl's forehead. She moves to the girl's ear and tenderly whispers "thank you".
Cut to:
Shot from above, the still kneeling doppelganger gently smoothes the powdery snow over the immobilised girl, her body now only half visible beneath the snow.
Extreme close-up:
Only the face of the little girl is still visible; her wide eyes moving wildly back and forth (the only parts of her body still able to move) as the doppelganger wipes the last of the soft snow across it.
Cut to:
Doppelganger pats the snowy mound gently and stands, turning her head to stare back over her shoulder, in the direction of the house.
Cut to:
Wide shot of the doppelganger skipping (in the far mid-ground) back to the house (in the background) where we see a figure sweeping the steps. In the distance we hear the doppelganger call out, "Mummy, what's for breakfast?"
